Can you support heavy cinema cameras in desert conditions?
Yes, our heavy-lift gimbals support ARRI Alexa Mini LF, RED V-Raptor, Sony Venice 2 and similar cinema cameras used on Atlas Studios productions and international features. We ensure proper balancing, dust sealing and power management for extended shoots in Morocco's diverse climates.
Do you provide operators or just equipment?
We provide experienced gimbal operators as standard, drawn from Morocco's deep international-production talent pool. Our operators understand both the technical systems and the cinematographic requirements for smooth, intentional movement — and the logistics of desert and medina shoots.
What shots work best with gimbals?
Gimbals excel at walk-and-talk sequences, tracking through spaces, following action, reveal shots, and long takes with movement. They provide smooth motion while maintaining mobility that dolly or Steadicam setups cannot match.
How do gimbals compare to Steadicam?
Gimbals are lighter, faster to set up, and more mobile than Steadicam. However, Steadicam provides a different aesthetic quality and can handle heavier cameras. We can advise on the best solution for your specific shots.
Can you integrate wireless follow focus?
Yes, we integrate wireless follow focus systems with gimbal setups, allowing a focus puller to control lens remotely while the operator concentrates on movement. We also support wireless video monitoring.
