Here is how this works in practice. We deliver sound design from spotting session through final pre-dub, working in studios in Casablanca and Rabat that have grown alongside the steady flow of global shoots Morocco hosts. Our team builds atmospheric beds, designed effects, transitions and creature or impact work to picture, layering first field recordings captured across the medinas, deserts and coastline with curated libraries.

Here is what we have to work with. On the ground, shoots that shoot at Aït Benhaddou, Ouarzazate or Essaouira frequently want their soundtracks to carry a genuine sense of place, and our designers record local ambiences — souk crowds, call to prayer, wind across the dunes, Atlantic surf — to ground the mix. We supply ordered, well-labelled sessions ready for the re-recording mix, whether the final dub happens in-country or abroad, and set up closely with editors and directors so the sonic identity supports the cut at each stage.

Here is how this works in practice. Morocco's musical heritage gives sound designers a rare palette. Gnawa music, the spiritual trance custom celebrated each year at the Gnaoua World Music Festival in Essaouira, adds hypnotic percussion and the metallic ring of the qraqeb. Andalusian classic music and the Fes Festival of World Sacred Music give melodic and choral colour. Amazigh and chaabi traditions add regional specificity. These sources let our designers create soundscapes for stories set in or evoking North Africa and the wider region with real authenticity rather than pastiche.

On the ground, moroccan auteurs such as Maryam Touzani, whose 'The Blue Caftan' competed at Cannes, and Nabil Ayouch, director of 'Casablanca Beats', work with the same local craft.
